Postdoc in method development for materials or molecular simulations

The group of Prof. Dr. Pavlo O. Dral is seeking an excellent postdoc for one of the topics:

1. Development and implementation of methods for materials simulations. Requirements: the postdoc candidate should have a proven track record in this field, with experience in implementing methods supporting periodic boundary conditions.
2. Development and implementation of electronic structure methods.
   Requirements: the postdoc candidate should have a proven track record in developing ab initio or semi-empirical wavefunction-based quantum mechanical methods.

Initial salary is 200–300 thousand RMB per year, commensurate with the applicant’s qualifications and experience. Suitable candidates are expected to stay in the group for 2–3 years, however, initial appointment is based on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to performance and mutual agreement.
