Joining Xiamen University

I am happy to announce that I am joining Xiamen University as an Associate Professor.

Xiamen University (XMU) is known world-wide for excellent research in chemistry with a strong team of theoretical and computational chemists, which I am very honored to join.

My research focus at XMU is on development of machine learning and semiempirical quantum chemical methods for atomistic simulations as well as application of computational chemistry methods for finding solutions of real-world chemistry problems.

We will soon be hiring, the announcements will follow shortly.

The main campus of the University (on the left) is one of the most beautiful in the world and is a main attraction for tourists. It is located on Xiamen Island near the beach.
